Beauty Review: Forever Living Products

I’ve tried many different types of skin care in my time with the most effective being the Clinique 3 step system when I was a teen. The cleansing soap cleared up my mild acne in a matter of weeks when nothing else would go anywhere near. After using it for a couple of years the soap started to make my skin dry so I haven’t used it, or any facial soap since. So when the lovely Marie started working with Forever Living Products and asked me to try their avocado face and body soap I thought I would see how my skin reacted to it. She also sent me a lip balm from the range to sample:

Forever Living are a company who specialise in products made from aloe vera ranging from skincare and cosmetics to weight management and healthy living. I’d never heard of them before Marie became the local distributor so was curious to see what the products were like.

The soap has a lovely fresh scent and works into a lather really easily with a little warm water. I didn’t use this on my eyes but it removed every trace of make up on my skin with one wash. I don’t think my skin was too impressed with the change in routine as it was quite dry and tight after I had been using this so I changed to using it in the shower as a body buy augmentin 875 mg soap. I found this much better for me and it left my skin feeling soft and smooth with less dryness than on my face.

I really like the clean looking packaging of both of these products. They are really simple with no fuss to take away from what the product is trying to do.

The lip balm contains added jojoba as well as the signature aloe vera. This gives it a lovely fruity scent that has lasted with the product. I find that some lip balms lose their scent after a few uses but this really is infused all the way through the balm stick. Unlike other lip balms this is really soft and one swipe gives just enough coverage. It feels moisturising and soft on the lips and I found after using this for a few weeks my lips were in much better condition than before.

Something I certainly can’t grumble about with these products is the price. The soap retails at £5.40 with the lip balm a ridiculously reasonable price of £2.87. Give Marie a shout on Twitter for further information on all Forever Living Products and how to order.
