Bake Box – New York New York Review

With The Great British Bake Off not long leaving our screens for another year there is no better way to get over the loss than getting your bake ON. I have been getting The Bake Box for a while now and I wrote about them a while ago when I received my first box. For just £14.99 you get sent a lovely selection of excellent quality baking goodies and they always stick perfectly to the theme. The New York New York box is my absolute favourite so far and celebrates everything there is to love about the Big Apple.

As always you get six recipe cards to help you use the contents to make masterpieces. They are really easy to follow and tell you all the extra tools that you will need to make each item so you don’t need to be halfway through before realising that you are missing a vital piece of equipment.

One of my favourite items in the box is this giant silicone cupcake mould. Cupcake by name cupcake by nature, this means I can make a giant sponge cupcake that will be that big that my dreadful icing skills will disappear as there is no need to be dainty! The top and bottom are in separate pieces making it easy to use and bake in. I am hooked!

There are more augmentin 625mg price cookie cutters, this time a statue of liberty, an ‘I Heart New York’ T shirt and a yellow taxi, three things that are widely known as being New York themed. I love these cookie cutters are they are in two parts which means they are super easy to use and even easier to clean.

The art deco chocolate decoration mat is also perfect for novices like me as you literally just pipe onto the lines, wait for it to dry and then peel it off. The recipe cards use this for the Chrysler Building inspired cheesecake and the art deco images are just like the top of the Chrysler Building!

The blue pro gel is ideal for any designs featuring the American flag whilst the mini doughnut silicone mould makes getting the perfect holes a piece of cake, literally.

Another favourite from the box and the last item is this whoopie pie silicone mould.  I have tried making whoopie pies before and they ended up spreading too much on a baking tray in all different sizes. Using this mould they are all the same size making them much easier to sandwich together and they look much nicer too.

I loved this Bake Box, definitely my favourite so far! You can buy it here.
