Being a Manchester blogger sometimes has its negatives. I get invited to some amazing events in London that I simply cannot get to be it because of lack of cash or the fact that I work full time. If only someone would pay me to do this full time and then I could go to all the glitzy events I wanted!
One such event was the launch of a pop up in Chelsea for premium lifestyle brand Vevie. A little out of my price range but there are some fabulous exercise and swimwear pieces on their website. These are my favourites and are going on my wishlist…
I love the colour of this Hertford dotty polka flash jacket (£125), it makes workout clothes more fun! I also love that it has a longer line in the body with 4 way stretch so shouldn’t ride up when working out and building up a sweat. It is quick drying so perfect for rainy days like today whilst also being breathable. I love that it has thumb loops in the cuffs to stop the sleeves riding up and also keeping your hands warmer in the colour months. Basically, I want it. I think I need it actually as it would encourage my lazy ass back out pounding the streets.
It would be wrong not to get these Hertford dotty polka flash tights (£90) to go with the jacket. They have a handy pocket so I could go for a run but have my house key in a safe place. I’m normally a fan of a 3/4 length leg when it comes to workout trousers but these would be better for the winter months and the muscle control technology would help my body to recover quicker. Owning something as cute as these trousers would certainly boost my confidence to get back into the gym and back into a running routine.
The people at Vevie very kindly sent me the goodie bag that I missed out on due to not being available for the event and I’ll review the contents order cialis online canada over the coming months. The first thing I pulled out of the bag in excitement was the Caudalie Huile Divine. I have had my eye on this for ages!
The packaging oozes class with its glass bottle embossed with a grape design and a wooden top. The grape design is significant as this product is made using grape seed oil and polyphenols as well as hibiscus, sesame and argan.
Like most products with argan as an ingredient this is a multi tasker and can be used on nails, hair, in the bath and as a massage oil as well as on the body. I’m always dubious of a product with a scent that claims to be a multi tasker but the smell of this is amazing. It’s really light but with a woody scent that is cut through with a light floralness. Light enough that it doesn’t overpower my perfume, in fact, it compliments Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb perfectly.
The bottle has a handy spray which is great for using on the hair and body. It allows you to control the amount of product perfectly and there is no mess or spills.
This is one spray worth of the product so enough to get decent coverage on moisturised skin. When I first started to use this I found I needed a lot more, my skin was pretty dry from the warm weather and sunbathing at the time.
This oil gives my skin a wonderful sheen that enhances my natural skin tone as well as my tan. Not got perfect pins? Give this a go… it really enhances what you have in the best possible way. I hate my legs and this made, even me, that bit more confident. I haven’t tried it in the bath as yet but that is next on the agenda, I can’t imagine it will be anything but perfect.
Have you tried Caudalie Huile Divine? How do you like to use it?
