I can’t believe Christmas is only 3 weeks away. I am so badly organised this year and not just with buying of gifts for my friends and family, also with compiling my own wishlist! Here are a few things that are available on the Next website that I would love to find in my stocking on Christmas morning:
When asked what I wanted for Christmas the first thing I said was a new set of GHD hair straighteners. My old ones still work but they are nearly 10 years old now and have lost the grip they used to have. The new ones are much sleeker and I love the colour changing packaging of the Wonderland iron.
Whilst I’m at it I thought I may as well be cheeky and ask for the GHD hair dryer to go with the new straighteners. It’s pricey at £120 but is of professional quality and promises to dry hair in half the time which should leave my frizzy fly-away hair much smoother. Worth the price tag in my opinion.
Being a food and drink blogger it would seem wrong not to include some sort of glassware into my Christmas list and I love these shot glasses. They are on a stem which makes them much more elegant than the chunky ones I currently have and they also include charms so you can remember which one is yours, well it could at least jog your memory after several glasses…
I’ve got a few cocktail books but this one goes into both the art of cocktail making and some recipes. I rarely make cocktails at home so it would be nice to learn, especially whilst I own numerous bottles of spiritis!
I’ve lusted after a Kitchenaid ever since I got into baking but the price tag has always meant it is very unlikely to appear in my cupboard any time soon. This Next mixer looks like it could do just the job for me when baking cupcakes and the splash guard means I won’t be covered in powdered sugar by the end of the day!
I discovered NYX whilst shopping in Walmart during my recent America trip and have fallen in love with their $1.50 mascara. I’ll review it for you soon but in the meantime I would love to try their nail polishes too. This kit is a bargain at £20 and I could try lots of different colours.
LA jersey star shorts set – £24
It wouldn’t be Christmas in my house without a new pair of pyjamas and following my trip to America these ones are perfect! I loved Los Angeles, it was one of my favourite places on our trip so every time I jumped into these it would remind me of being there.
Set of 24 spice carousel – £30
Trying to eat healthy can be a bland business. Food without the additives can taste incredibly dull and that is why I would always advocate a full herb and spice selection to spice things up a bit. Mine is a bit passed it now with a mismatch of different brands bottles and some blends I’ve made myself. This spice carousel would mean I could replace them into the same bottles when used and I could top up the less used ones with my own blends.
I’m not averse to cooking with oil but this health fryer only uses 1/2 a tablespoon of oil to cook 1kg of chips! It also roasts, sautes, bakes and fries lots of different types of food so I could really play with making healthier versions of my favourite dishes. I’d try my carrot chips first to see how they turned out.
Tassimo by Bosch joy 2 T45 – £130
Something else I discovered a love for in America is coffee. I’ve never been that bothered by it but the addition of a coffee maker in most of our hotel rooms and lots of early starts turned me into a coffee addict. I’ve been desperate to get my own machine ever since and this one looks really simple to use. It also includes Brita water filtration which is a huge plus for me.
So there is my list! What’s on yours?
