A couple of weeks ago I shared with you the plans I had for my living room. I finally got around to sorting my feature wall so I thought I would show you how beautiful the Inspired Wallpaper I got turned out.
I am not going to lie, I didn’t put it up myself. Living on your own means jobs like this are so much more difficult, so I asked a friend to do it for me. He is a professional and was really impressed with the quality of the paper. He said, for the price, it was thicker than he was expecting and that the pattern ran true. Basically that means you can paste and put up quickly because you are not trying desperately to marry the pattern together and stretch what little give wallpaper has. I needed 2.5 rolls for my feature wall and at £12.99 a roll this pretty paper has lightened and brightened my room buy augmentin over the counter more than I thought possible.
I have hung voile drapes at the windows to let in as much natural light as possible, but for that isn’t an option I got this beautiful retro style copper floor lamp from Aldi at the bargain price of £29.99. I love the retro style bulb and the lamp comes with two, perfect for if one blows unexpectedly.
I am just waiting to put my wings back on the wall and have ordered some copper frames from Desenio to get some of the artwork I have been collecting up, to make my house a home with my stamp all over it. I could also do with some storage as there is so little space in my house at the moment but I haven’t found anything I like or that would fit. Do let me know in the comments if you have any storage ideas for small spaces.
