Introducing The Frickin Hell Mann! With Almost Famous And Hellmanns

You will rarely find a more satisfying burger than those in Almost Famous. Piled high with inventive toppings, and even more inventive names, it is the perfect place to satisfy that itch that only a good burger can scratch.

New for Summer is the Frickin’ Hell Mann! made in collaboration with Hellmann’s Mayonnaise. Available until the 24th August, this cheesy delight is well worth the visit.

The double cheeseburger is given a cheese skirt, a dollop of mac n cheese, pulled pork made with Hellmann’s American smokey barbecue sauce and fried pickles, topped with a generous squirt of Hellmann’s mayonnaise for good measure. It is a tower of cheesy, meaty goodness that you will need an empty tummy to get through. The mac n cheese is gooey, creamy and rich, the cheese skirt that satisfying layer of cheese that directly hits the grill and needs peeling off to eat. The fried pickles are sweet yet sour with a crunchy batter that slides off when bitten into. All in all it is a cracking burger that you need to try whilst you still can.

We paired ours with Baddaboom Fries – curly fries topped with a sprinkle of garlic salt, lashings of Mumma’s Red Sauce, slices of pepperoni and more cheese, as if we hadn’t eaten enough. They were moreish and addictive, to the point that we knew we had to stop but just couldn’t.

Whilst you are at Almost Famous you may as well grab a couple of their cocktails. For a burger joint they are exceptionally good with the Bidness and Ting packing a real punch. Appleton VX and Wray & Nephew rums are shaken with lime, passionfruit, peach bitters and Ting for a strong yet long drink that has a freshness running through the booziness of the strong rums present.

Their take on a Porn Star, the Fit A.F Martini sees Finlandia Vodka, Limoncello, Benedictine, orange flower water, rhubarb bitters, pineapple and candy strawberry shaken together for a fruity concoction served with a prosecco shot. The flower water adds a lightness to the normally heavier ingredients and it goes down a little too well after a hectic day in the office.

Get yours before it is too late.

Hellmann’s and trendsetting burger joint, Almost Famous, have created a new limited-edition dish, the Frickin’ Hell Mann, available from 27th July to 24th August. Enjoy at any of the Almost Famous restaurants in Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool between 27th July and 24th August, priced at £12.

We were invited to dine as guests of Almost Famous and were not asked to pay for our meal.
