Local Groceries With Creamline And You Could Win A Hamper

With 2018 starting today, a lot will be on health kicks and I am one of them. Yes I know we shouldn’t wait until a New Year to get healthy but with a trip to New York looming, I needed an aim and a new year was too perfect not to. I have piled on the lbs over the last 18 months or so and, for some reason, just couldn’t find the motivation to do anything about it. Booking to go back to New  York after 10 years away has done just that and Creamline came to the rescue with a cracking Christmas hamper.

I’ve had deliveries from Creamline before and I love that they are local, in fact, one of their depots is around the corner from my house. They were founded in 1945 and remain a family business who pride themselves on supplying local produce to the doors of North West residents. I received their fabulously festive hamper which also included some seasonal goodies to keep me from having to visit the supermarket over the festive season.

Thatcher’s Bakery supplied English muffins, stollen and cranberry loaf, the latter of which is so moreish! I’ve been having it for breakfast with a cup of the ground coffee from Ellanos which is supplied by a Didsbury coffee company.

The meat from 3 Little Pigs comes wrapped in brown paper and the bacon is particularly tasty with a thick slice and a thin rind, just the type I like.

The Cheshire Cheese Company provide cheese and chilli jam whilst Mrs Darlington’s supply cranberry sauce. All small suppliers, all local, all as fresh as can be.

The vegetables were spot on with a huge bag of kale ready to bake into kale chips, sprouts ready for the Christmas dinner and parsnips to be honeyed and roasted. The fruit stayed fresh a lot longer than the stuff I get from the supermarket and I got a small portions of them which is ideal when you’re the only one in the house who eats them.

Everything arrived in a sturdy box direct to my door and I can’t wait to order more, especially a healthy box full of more fruit and vegetables to play with and experiment.

Creamline have kindly supplied a hamper for me to giveaway so you can get your new year off to a good start. It won’t be the same as mine as this was for the Festive season but it will have lots of fruit and vegetables. You need to be within the Greater Manchester area and within one of Creamline’s delivery areas to qualify for the prize. You can check their delivery areas here. As always the prize will be honoured by Creamline and you need to complete the entry details given below.

Good luck!
