I really love a trip to the hairdressers. Having a hectic life, it is enforced downtime meaning I can relax with a brew and a good book whilst someone else pampers me for a little while. Hair salons have really upped their game recently, gone are the days of milky weak tea and that’s your lot, many now offer damn good coffee and even a glass of fizz.
Ed’s Hair is a fairly small salon on the main road running through Bramhall Village. Being a Stockport girl, I am a regular in Bramhall, but this was my first visit to Ed’s. I think I have always assumed it would be well outside of my price range, being in such an affluent village. When I visited I was pleasantly surprised by the competitive prices and the coffee, can we just take a moment to appreciate the cappuccino?
The wonderful Senior Stylist Denise worked her magic with Schwarzkopf Brazil Nut Oils to add strength and shine to my hair, which has been lacking a bit of oomph recently as my Keratin Blow Dry grows out. The product was applied then a plastic cap popped on, before heat helped the product to penetrate right to my roots before being washed off and styled. Technically this would be quite easy to do at home but the relaxed vibe of Ed’s means I would come back here for them to work their magic and at around £20 for the treatment, it is totally worth it. My hair felt so soft and light after the treatment and I left Ed’s feeling a million dollars.
I am definitely due another Keratin treatment so I’ll be booking into Ed’s next time to see how they get on with it, I’ll keep you up to date.
I was invited to Ed’s as a guest and was not asked to pay.
